Otters Suffer 6-4 Setback
The Ogallala Octopi stopped the Tulsa Otters, 6-4, at Ballpark of Hughesville. The Octopi got a big game from Kunitaro Nii, who was 3-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dave Lewis was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Otton Asmus picked up the save for Ogallala, his 5th of the year.

Nii came through with some timely hitting for Ogallala. With the score 3-3 in the top of the fourth and one down, Nii hit a 3-1 fastball for a 2-run triple. His 3rd triple of the season made it 5-3, Ogallala.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Nii told the Ogallala Citizen.

The Octopi now have a record of 16-15.
