Victory Over Octopi Takes Crowley to 19-11
The Crowley Cajuns got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ramón Aragón, who kept Ogallala hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Cajuns win at Nebraska Aquarium. The winning pitcher was Aragón, now 2-0. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 10. Crowley, at 19-11, sits in second place in the Premier R.

Crowley used the bat of José Bermúdez to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cajuns ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"I liked his command," said Crowley manager Manuel Romo. "Ramón was throwing strikes."
