The Indiana Lead Sox grabbed a 7-6 win over the Surprise Shockers at The Lead Mine. Indiana third baseman Ralph Titus went 2-4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs to earn player of the game honors. David Graham picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Larry Carver was tagged with the loss. Jesús Crisotomo earned the save, his 3rd, for the Lead Sox.

The Lead Sox used some clutch hitting to beat the Shockers, a good example being the at-bat of Rickey Jenkins in the bottom of the first. With two down, Jenkins gave his team the lead, 4-1, when he hit a bases-clearing double.

"It feels good to get this one," Titus told the Indiana Chronicle.

The Lead Sox keep rolling, raising their record to 4-2.
