Cajuns, Damitz Pin Bad Loss on Cougars
It was a fun time at Titans Ballpark, where the Valley View Cougars and Crowley Cajuns tangled.

Riding the 4-hit performance of the 19-year old first baseman Dustin Damitz, the Crowley Cajuns stopped the Valley View Cougars, 13-1. With the win, Crowley improves its record to 3-0.

With Crowley leading 8-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Damitz came up to bat against Valley View pitcher Mitchell van der Ploeg. Damitz hit a slider to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Cajuns on top, 11-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Damitz.
