Gaoteote Helps Dirty Reds Run Win Streak to 6
Dirty Reds designated hitter Palaie Gaoteote put his stamp on his team's 6-0 win over the Oakland Oaks. Gaoteote went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for San Mateo in the contest. San Mateo reliever Ignacio Ayala picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jeff Mahl was saddled with the loss. The Oaks, now 7-12, continue their slow start.

The Dirty Reds grabbed the lead in the top of the third. With no one out, Jimmy Scott, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2029 draft, hit a solo home run off Jeff Mahl, putting San Mateo in front, 2-0. For Scott, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Oakland manager DAshley GoAs.
