Ramblers Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Galesburg Guzzlers and Chicago Tula.
Chicago starter Clinton McIntosh pitched effectively against the Galesburg Guzzlers at Ramblers Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. McIntosh picked up the win for Chicago, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. Fernando Campos finished the game for Chicago and earned his 1st save.
José Arras tagged a home run off Steve Gourin in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Tula on top, 2-0. In all, Arras had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Galesburg skipper Javier González.
With the win, Chicago goes to 45-42, while the Guzzlers fall to 41-46.
