White Walkers Walk It Off for 10th Win of Season

The Buffalo White Walkers did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at Beyond the Wall. Nobody did more than pitcher Dusty Fox, who captured player of the game honors. Buffalo reliever Woodward Haberdash picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pedro Valdéz was saddled with the loss. The White Walkers, now 10-5, have been playing some good baseball.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 3-3, second baseman Max Bortenschlager won it for Buffalo. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Bortenschlager hit a 1-1 fastball from Anthony Ledesma for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 4-3 win.
"This place was electric at the end," Fox said.
