Revolution Lick Tula, 12-0
|
The York Revolution defeated the Chicago Tula, 12-0. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Vicente Perales, who went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Willard Kanjuchi finished to wrap up his 1st save. York is 4th in the Premier A with a record of 26-25.
York used the bat of Kennet Udinga to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Revolution ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"We maximized our offense today," said York skipper Michael Garrett. "That makes everyone's life easier."
