The 2039 season is getting ugly for Delaware.

Galesburg right fielder Sherman Kline was a significant contributor in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Delaware 1787 BC. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Galesburg. Galesburg reliever Luis Freixa picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Thomas Sangrey absorbed the loss.

The Guzzlers got a lift from first baseman Gerald Johnston who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth inning off Thomas Sangrey. It was his 9th walk of the season and put Galesburg in front, 3-2.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Johnston told the Galesburg Daily News.

The Guzzlers, at 14-21, have now won 4 straight.
