Seahawks Stymie Chicago, Take 2-1 Win
|
Masaki Ito never let the Tula get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his knuckle curve, to pitch the Seahawks to a 2-1 win. Salvador Graciani was credited with the save for Myrtle Beach, his 3rd of the season. The Seahawks have an impressive 20-10 record.
Myrtle Beach catcher Dermott Mann delivered a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. Overall, he went 3 for 3, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 2.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Chicago manager Mike Evans, "let me know."
