Walleye Bridle 1787 BC, 2-1
|
Walla Walla starter Vicente Dávila put a stranglehold on the Delaware offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Walleye to a 2-1 win. Walla Walla, at 4-1, is off to a blistering start.
In the bottom of the first, Robbie Brendle hit a 2-run home run for Walla Walla. The 1st home run of the season for the Walla Walla center fielder put the Walleye on top, 2-0.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Dávila said.
