The South Beach Blaze dealt the Eugene Vandals a 8-3 loss at The Riot Zone. Chang-soo Yun was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Robert Taylor got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. With the win, South Beach boosts its record to 3-2.
South Beach used the clutch hitting of Su-min Im to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to give the Blaze the lead, 3-0. For the game, Im had 1 single and 1 double in 6 at-bats.
