Fans who came to Torch Field watched the Laredo Hawks and the Mancelona Torch fight to the finish.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Laredo Hawks and the Mancelona Torch, Ed Alexander was the difference-maker. The Laredo right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 2-1 win. Mike Park got the save, his 26th in 31 chances.
