Hanna, Storm Get 2-1 Win
|
The Syracuse Storm did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Grim Reapers at Storm Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Shawn Hanna, who captured player of the game honors. The Storm bumped their record to 50-38 with this latest triumph.
Grim could barely put a dent in Hanna. The right-hander tossed 97 pitches over 7 innings for the Storm, allowing only 2 hits.
Afterward, Storm manager Theodore Johnston was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
