Flamingos Jolt Patriots with Late Rally
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Freedon Akinmoladun, the Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the Boston Patriots, 5-3. Akinmoladun slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Flamingos. Las Vegas reliever Morris Prinkey picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bradley Roth took the loss. With the win, Las Vegas pushes its record to 5-7.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Akinmoladun hit a sinker from Bradley Roth for a 2-run home run. The Flamingos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Akinmoladun. "And not try to do too much."
