Victory Pushes Hawks Record to 44-32
The Laredo Hawks picked up a win at The Coffin, knocking off the Grim Reapers, 7-3. Starting pitcher Justin Frederick played a key role in the triumph. Laredo goes to 44-32, Grim to 42-34.

Laredo needed the clutch hitting of Juan Oleastro to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hawks on top, 4-2. For the game, Oleastro had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

In comments to the Laredo Daily News, Frederick admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
