Hawks Bang Out 7-2 Win Versus Syracuse
|
The Laredo Hawks topped the Syracuse Storm, 7-2, with youngster Ji-hyun Yi playing a key role. Yi was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Hawks in the win. Quan Yang earned the save, his 2nd. The Hawks now have a record of 38-29.
Laredo first baseman Kawenaula Alohalani contributed to the cause with a double in the bottom of the second. For the game, Alohalani was 1 for 3 with a double.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Alohalani.
