Thunder Bay right fielder Gilberto Ocasio had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-2 win over the Long Island Lighthouse. Sakutaro Ohayashi picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 5 in 7.1 innings. The Northern Lions BC, now 6-0, have been on a roll in the early going.

Ocasio came through with some timely hitting for Thunder Bay. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the first and one down, Ocasio hit a 0-2 fastball for a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season made it 3-0, Thunder Bay.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams. "Our pregame was pretty good."
