The Syracuse Storm racked up a win at Hawks Field, bumping off the Laredo Hawks, 3-0. Shawn Hanna, who started for Syracuse, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, the Storm improved to 31-23.
Hanna earned the win to move to 7-4. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 8 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Hawks few scoring opportunities.
"It feels good to get this one," Hanna told the Syracuse Observer.
