Alohalani Hits 2 home runs in Hawks Win
Hawks Field was the site of a competitive game between the Syracuse Storm and Laredo Hawks.

Hawks third baseman Kawenaula Alohalani put his stamp on his team's 5-3 win over the Syracuse Storm. Alohalani went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Laredo in the contest. Laredo reliever Dave Hamilton picked up the win to move to 2-2. Greg Poe suffered the loss. Mike Park, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 14th save.

Alohalani had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 splitter from Greg Poe, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Hawks a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Alohalani.

"I really like what we did out there today," Alohalani said after the game.

The Hawks, at 31-21, lead by one game in their division.
