Hotspur U-21 Need Extra Frames to Get Past Arryns

Phoenix center fielder Allen Kelley made his presence felt in the 6-4 Hotspur U-21 triumph over the Lake Erie Arryns. Kelley was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Phoenix reliever Ron Meredith was the winner. His record is now 1-4. Jesús Solís took the loss. Phoenix now owns a record of 27-25.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Kelley delivered big-time for Phoenix, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jesús Solís. The game-changing hit put the Hotspur U-21 on top, 5-4.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Kelley told the Phoenix Today. "It's as simple as that."
