Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Reapers
Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Jong-yun Rhee, the Syracuse Storm suffered a 10-9 loss to the Grim Reapers. Rhee was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Grim reliever Jhon Aimar picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Ben Gillespie was collared with the loss. Grim now sits at 22-20, while Syracuse falls to 26-16.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher John Crosby came to bat in the bottom of the ninth. Facing Syracuse pitcher Ben Gillespie, he hit a 0-1 splitter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Grim on top, 10-9.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Crosby told the Grim Daily News.
