Hawks Topple Reapers with Late Rally
Laredo got a strong outing from Ed Alexander as the Hawks defeated the Grim Reapers, 3-2, at The Coffin. Laredo reliever Olivier Nogues was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Lorenzo Carregosa took the loss. Laredo is second in the Silver A with a record of 15-10.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when first baseman Rubén Balderas hit a single. The Hawks went on to win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Balderas.
