Chiefs Prove Rude Guests, Win 5-2 at Niagara Falls
|
Caldwell and Niagara Falls duked it out at Waterfall Park and the Chiefs came out victorious.
Caldwell Chiefs starter Josh Brennan was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-2. Earning his 7th save of the year was Vasile Alexandrescu.
One of the key players for the Chiefs was right fielder Yong-hong Ren, who drilled a double in the top of the first inning. For the game, Ren was 1-5 with a double.
Ren called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The win puts the Chiefs at 13-9, while the Expos drop to 9-13.
