Airmen Top Hotspur U-21, 7-5
|
Alameda and Phoenix duked it out at Hotspur Kiddie Complex and the Airmen came out victorious.
Starting pitcher Mark Walker pitched well enough to help the Alameda Airmen beat the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 by the score of 7-5. Alameda, at 11-9, occupies 4th place in the Silver A.
It could have been a different outcome for Alameda, had it not been for Bradley Wilson, the 22-year old first baseman . Wilson contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Alameda up, 3-0.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Walker.
