Airmen Lose, 4-2, at Hawks Field
|
Laredo Hawks starter Justin Frederick turned in a top-notch performance against the Alameda Airmen at Hawks Field. The result was a win for the Hawks, 4-2. Mike Park finished to wrap up his 4th save. Losses have been rare for the Airmen, who are now 5-2.
The Hawks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Todd Walker. For the game, Walker went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Laredo a 2-0 lead.
"We did a lot of things right," said Walker.
