Threlfall Helps BC Run Win Streak to 4
|
The Put-In-Bay BC topped the Grand Forks Caterpillars by the score of 6-3, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Lester Threlfall. Threlfall was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the BC. Javier Benavides got the save, his 16th in 17 chances. Put-In-Bay has now won 4 games in a row.
Put-In-Bay grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Threlfall, who is tied for 6th in the 3A with a .845 OPS, hit a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season put the BC out in front, 3-1.
