Bulls Sneak Past Jets, 2-1
|
Belleville rode a good effort from starter Jacob Messer to beat the Kennesaw Jets at Belleville Field. The final score was 2-1. The losing streak for Kennesaw has now reached 4 games.
Belleville won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Jeffery Clayton on the mound for Kennesaw, shortstop Michael Collier hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Bulls fans to their feet.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Lou Cook.
