The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids trumped the New Orleans Voodoo, 4-3, at The Voodoo Lounge. Northern Virginia shortstop Kjartan Einarsson was named player of the game for his performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The save was Brewster Warble's, his 22nd. Northern Virginia has now won 7 straight.

Einarsson had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Rainbow Mermaids went on to win.
