The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles turned back the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-4, at Mercer Island Grounds. Emílio Ramírez was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 1-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Ryan Fry earned his 9th save in 10 tries. Mercer Island has an impressive 40-20 record.
