Thunder Hawks Roll Over Ogres, 11-4

Xiao-yong Chu had a good game, but he could not keep the Olympia Ogres from falling, 11-4, to the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Olympia third baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. Ft. Polk South reliever Bailey Achurch was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Luis Castro. Ft. Polk South is now 43-13, 5 games up in the Premier AA.
In the bottom of the second, Teng Xuefeng hit a 2-run double for Ft. Polk South. The 5th double of the season for the Ft. Polk South right fielder put the Thunder Hawks on top, 3-1.
