Starting pitcher António Morterero pitched well enough to help the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks beat the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats by the score of 5-3. António García closed the door for Ft. Polk South, picking up his 3rd save of the year. Ft. Polk South is now 41-12, 5 games up in the Premier AA.

Ft. Polk South used the timely hitting of Roberto Baca to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was an important one.
