Duncan Dazzles in Mercer Island Win
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles knocked off the Springfield Shooters, 3-1. Mercer Island starter Brian Duncan pitched well enough to earn top player honors. The Screaming Eagles have an impressive 35-17 record.

Duncan, the winner, is now 5-3. In 9 innings of work, he gave up no earned runs on 2 hits, while collecting 10 Ks. He essentially shut down the Springfield offense.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Duncan said.
