Multi-HR Day for Castillo as Rainbow Mermaids Overpower Grey Wolves, 10-4
Rainbow Mermaids second baseman Mario Castillo put his stamp on his team's 10-4 win over the Vancouver Grey Wolves. Castillo slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Northern Virginia in the contest. The first-place Rainbow Mermaids improved to 63-34.

The Rainbow Mermaids grabbed the lead in the top of the ninth. With no one out, Lupo Cotto hit a 3-run home run off Sjaak Bonne, putting Northern Virginia in front, 10-4. For Cotto, it was his 17th home run of the season.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Castillo. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
