Screaming Eagles Sink Love Boats, 4-2

Mercer Island got a strong outing from Adrik Mihalushkin as the Screaming Eagles defeated the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 4-2, at Heron Field. Mihalushkin, now 5-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing 2 earned runs. The Love Boats have now dropped 5 straight.
The Screaming Eagles got a big boost from right fielder Charles Basle who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning off Love Boats hurler Tony Castro. It was his 16th RBI of the season and put Mercer Island on top, 3-2.
