Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Lung Chaim, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 7-4. Chaim was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Thunder Hawks. The first-place Thunder Hawks have won 7 in a row.

Had Gregory Clement not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Clement hit a 2-run triple. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Thunder Hawks.
