Palladium Sox Come Back Late to Clip Shooters
|
The 2039 season is getting ugly for Springfield.
Virginia left-hander Ismael Riddles pitched his team to victory over the Springfield Shooters at Springfield Stadium. The final score was 4-0. The second-place Palladium Sox have won 7 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Virginia, had it not been for Sergio Aguero, the 24-year old catcher . Aguero contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the eighth inning to put Virginia up, 1-0.
Aguero called the triumph "a good team win."
