Rommel Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Chicago in Walk-Off Win
The Chicago Silver Sox defeated the Hollywood Shredders, 6-5. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Kanko Umaba, who was 2 for 2 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Chicago reliever Eugenio Piñeiro picked up the win, upping his record to 6-0. Cullen Taylor shouldered the loss. The Silver Sox now own a record of 50-40.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Chicago trailing 5-4, Loring Rommel hit a fastball from Cullen Taylor to right for a 2-run triple. Just like that, the Silver Sox had a walk-off win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Rommel said.
