With left fielder Seb Blanch leading the charge, the Biloxi Shuckers defeated the Akron Blimps, 9-2, at The Pizza Oven. Blanch, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AA in doubles with 25, went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, the Shuckers improved to 41-53.

The fans who came in support of the Shuckers were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Pizza Oven.
