The Richland Rails topped the Marquette Miners, 3-1, in M3L Double A action at Marquette Stadium. The player of the game was Richland pitcher and Yeongju, South Korea native Dong-hwan Namgung. Namgung picked up the win for Richland, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-5. Jing Hsi converted his 5th save in 5 tries.
Richland used the clutch hitting of Josh Wiggins to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to give the Rails the lead, 2-0. For the game, Wiggins had 2 singles and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
