The Billings Polar Bears topped the Marquette Miners, 5-3, in M3L Double A action at The Igloo. The player of the game was Billings pitcher Mark Greenwood. Billings reliever Larry McFadden was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Eric Manchester took the loss for Marquette. The win puts the Polar Bears at 38-49, while the Miners drop to 50-37.

A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the seventh inning when the Polar Bears sent 21-year-old shortstop Harold Dansey to the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd. The youngster shook off the pressure and reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run, to put Billings on top, 2-1.

"Feels good to get the job done," Dansey said after the game.
