Asheville Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

San Antonio used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chun-mei Bao to down the Asheville Highlanders, 2-1. In 5.1 innings, Bao surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Craig Wash recorded the save for San Antonio, his 2nd of the season.

Parker Truesdale made an early impact for San Antonio when he stroked his 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with no one out in the top of the third, put the BC on top, 2-0.

"Chun-mei did a tremendous job," said San Antonio manager John Wright.

San Antonio has now won 4 straight.
