The Richland Rails defeated the Akron Blimps, 7-2, in M3L Double A action at Rails Ballpark, with Richland pitcher Dong-hwan Namgung named player of the game. Hirohisa Niiya converted his 1st save in 2 tries. Richland improves to 49-29 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.

With the bases empty and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning, right fielder Huibrecht Bloemheuvel delivered big for the Rails. Richland was trailing 2-1 when he belted a solo home run.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Namgung told the Richland Daily News.
