Bethesda had no answer for Akron Blimps starter Forest Bell, who flummoxed Atoms hitters as the Blimps cruised to a 8-0 victory. Akron is in 5th place in the Menard's AA with a record of 29-25.

Akron relied on the hitting of Walter Butler to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blimps on top, 7-0. For the game, Butler had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Butler. "And not try to do too much."
