The Bethesda Atoms topped the Marquette Miners, 5-3, in M3L Double A action at Marquette Stadium. The player of the game was Bethesda third baseman Alan Hubbard. The Atoms sit in 4th place in the Menard's AA with a record of 25-20.
Early in the game, Hubbard had a 2-run home run for Bethesda. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Atoms on top, 2-0.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Hubbard told the Bethesda Today.
