The Port Royal Disaster did just enough to sneak past the Hialeah Dodos, 4-3, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Port Royal pitcher Darren Garland earned player of the game honors. The Disaster, at 53-45, have now won 5 straight.

Gabriel Amezquita was the walk-off hero for Port Royal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Disaster second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Amezquita told the Port Royal Observer.
