Wolf Den in Vancouver was the site of an exciting ballgame between the New Orleans Voodoo and the Vancouver Grey Wolves.
In a tight contest at Wolf Den in Vancouver, the New Orleans Voodoo edged the Vancouver Grey Wolves by the score of 4-3. New Orleans center fielder Ruud van Ineveld, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Ted Chong picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-3. Sjaak Bonne was tagged with the loss.
New Orleans used the timely hitting of Danny Trautmann to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Voodoo on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We did enough to win," said Trautmann.
New Orleans leads the Premier League by 2 games.
