Lake Monsters Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Syracuse
The Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Syracuse Starks, 6-1, in USSL Triple A action at Stark Stadium. The player of the game was Vermont pitcher and Taipei, Taiwan native Cheung Wuying. Kee Bao finished to wrap up his 10th save. Vermont is 56-36 and Syracuse, with the loss, 42-50.

Vermont used the timely hitting of Miracle Crimes to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Lake Monsters on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Crimes told the Vermont News.
