Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Mason Congdon, the Tortolita Drummers defeated the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, 17-4. Congdon was 4-6 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Drummers. Scott Thompson picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-6. He struck out 1 in 8 innings. The Drummers go to 54-35, putting them third in the Silver AAA.
