Sunset District left-hander Nicholas Finn made an effective start against the Alloway Halberds at Fog Park, leading his team to a 6-3 win. Sunset District reliever Yajirobei Matsumoto was the winner. His record is now 6-3. Manuel Montero took the loss. The Fog' win now puts them at 46-41.
Yu-zeng Si contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he got hit by a pitch. It was one at-bat that propelled Sunset District to the win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Si said after the game.
